Darlene Panzera's A Perfect Opportunity is a sweet, short story romance about two people struggling with loss- a recent divorce for Matt, and Sarah's husband's death. Both have sons around the same age who help them each discover a way through the challenges they encounter. If you like a story of hope and second chances, you'll like A Perfect Opportunity.

Sarah seems like such a sweet person and you are immediately drawn to her. You can't help but want something good to come her way, and it does in the form of her new neighbor, Matt. Their need for companionship, the timing, and their mutual attraction to each other are a recipe for not only cookies, but for a new beginning.

Ms. Panzera has touched on two very real life situation here and spins a tale that will leave everyone smiling.

Darlene Panzera created a sweet romance story based on the reality of today's life in her short story, "A Perfect Opportunity." Being a widow, Sarah has the burden of independently maintaining a family life with her son, Tommy, with little time for romance, but when she's planning her son's birthday party she's forced to ask for assistance. Fortunately there's a new next door neighbor, Matt. Matt, divorced, also has a young son named Kyle. Darlene's story reveals the entire gamut of emotions involving divorce and widowhood. Sarah, Matt and their children find out doors can be opened allowing life to continue on, along with a chance for happiness and romance.
